What happens to the soul after suicide?

Much will depend why the suicide is taken.  If the person decided to take their own life because they are terminally ill and they are seeking refuge from the constant pain, and they are spiritually aware (not religious aware,) they will experience an easy knowing transition to another level of consciousness, that is welcoming, and they will transcend into a new reality.  For those who suicide for negative emotional reasons, they will generally go through a short period of blankness, and gradually become aware of another reality.  However, much will depend on their beliefs and knowledge in this life time as this affects the transition. Emotional pain from a mental illness is just as legitimate as physical pain from a physical illness. However, it’s how the mind is at time of departure that counts.  But once the person is through this the normal processes take over.
